Seine Musik ist von Bluegrass und Gypsy Swing beeinflusst, er hat mit Stephane Grapelli zusammen gespielt.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"sppb-person-introtext\">1976 hat er die Zeitschrift &#8222;Mandolin World News&#8220; gegr\u00fcndet die \u00fcber alle Bereiche der Mandolinen informierte. David Grisman hat wichtige Mandolinisten wie Dave Apollon und Jacob de Bandolim in der Mandolinenszene bekannt gemacht.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"sppb-person-introtext\">Viele Seiner Kompositionen geh\u00f6ren zum Standardrepertoir j\u00fcngerer Mandolinisten.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"sppb-person-introtext\">David Grisman hat auch viele Anregungen f\u00fcr den Mandolinenbau gegeben, insbesondere hat er die Mandolinen des italienischen Mandolinenbauers Giacomel in der Mandolinenszene bekannt gemacht.
