Mandolinenspieler, Dirigent, Komponist und P\u00e4dagoge.<\/p><p>Seit seiner Ankunft 1979 in Deutschland hat der geb\u00fcrtige Australier ziemlich alle vorstellbaren Stationen eines Mandolinistenlebens erlebt: Solokonzerte in London und Tokyo, eine der ersten Digitalaufnahmen mit der k\u00fcnftigen Weltmarke Hyperion aufgenommen, formelle Hochschulabschl\u00fcsse gemacht, selbst einen Hochschullehrauftrag erhalten, f\u00fchrenden Zupforchestern bei Konzerten, Tourneen und Aufnahmen vorgestanden, eine Seminart\u00e4tigkeit von Melbourne (Australien) bis Bergen (Norwegen) sowie von San Francisco (USA) bis Ljubljana (Slowenien) ausge\u00fcbt.<\/p><p>Er kennt das Gef\u00fchl, mit einem f\u00fchrenden Sinfonieorchester ein Konzert eines respektierten europ\u00e4ischen Komponisten uraufzuf\u00fchren sowie mit den Folgen einer MS-Erkrankung fertigwerden zu m\u00fcssen, die zwar seiner Spielerkarriere ein Ende bereitete, daf\u00fcr andere T\u00fcren \u00f6ffnete, wie er sagt.<\/p><p>Au\u00dferdem komponiert er und ver\u00f6ffentlicht Schriften \u00fcber Mandolinentechnik.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
