Schon mit 12 Jahren wurde er beim Radio engagiert und spielte dort zusammen mit Henry Hames als das Duo &#8222;Homer &amp; Jethro&#8220;. Ihre humorvollen Auftritte kamen sehr gut an. Das Duo ver\u00f6ffentlichte viele Alben, trat im Fernsehen auf und machte auch Werbespots f\u00fcr Cornflakes. Jethro wurde unter anderem vom legend\u00e4ren Dave Apollon, aber auch von Django Reinhardt beeinflusst und entwickelte seine unverwechselbare Spieltechnik, eine Mischung aus Bluegrass, Jazz, Swing und Country. Jethro hat viele Mandolinenspieler inspiriert. Seine St\u00fccke wurden von seinem sp\u00e4teren Partner Ken Eidson bei Mel Bay ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
