Er hat in Deutschland bei Getrud Weyhofen und Steffen Trekel studiert. Mit Christian Laier zusammen hat der die CD &#8222;Sky Blue Flower&#8220; aufgenommen. Angeregt durch das Werk von Konrad W\u00f6lki hat er in Japan die &#8222;Mandolinenorchester-Gilde&#8220; gegr\u00fcndet. Bei seinen Konzerten spielt er immer wieder auch Musik aus Deutschland wie die Burlesken von Marlo Strauss oder Zupfmusik aus der deutschen Zupfmusiktradition, aber auch zeitgen\u00f6ssische Werke aus Japan. 2008 hielt er einen Vortrag \u00fcber die Geschichte der Mandoline in Japan beim Mandolinensymposium in Trossingen. 2023 ist er als Gast beim San Diego Classical Mandolin Camp
