Okt. 1941 &#8211; 4. M\u00e4rz 2015) war ein bulgarischer Tambura-Spieler. Er hat in verschiedenen Formationen gespielt und viele St\u00fccke komponiert. Rumen war nicht nur ein bemerkenswerter Musiker, sondern auch ein gro\u00dfartiger Lehrer. Er war einer der ersten Professoren f\u00fcr Tambura-Musik in Sofia. Rumen Sirakovs wertvollste Leistung war wahrscheinlich sein Beitrag zur F\u00f6rderung der bulgarischen Musik im Ausland. In den 1980er Jahren gr\u00fcndeten die Band Thracian Threesome und das Bulgarka Vocal Trio. Produziert von Joe Boyd, pr\u00e4sentierte es bulgarische Folklore in Europa, den USA und Australien.
