Er gilt als der Vater des Bluegrass, ein Musikstil in dem die Mandoline eine f\u00fchrende Rolle spielt. Schon in den fr\u00fchen Aufnahmen zusammen mit seinem Bruder Charlie Monroe (Monroe Brothers) ist die Mandoline immer zu h\u00f6ren. Ab etwa 1946 wurde Bill Monroe mit seiner Band &#8222;The Bluegrass Boys&#8220; das Voirbild f\u00fcr viele weitere Bands und &#8222;Bluegrass&#8220; wurde zur Bezeichnung des von ihm kreierten Musikstils. Bill Monroe machte die Mandoline durch seine Musik popul\u00e4r in den USA, sein Einfluss wirkt bis heute nach.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
