The album Winter With Mandolins is a collection of beautiful traditional carols, classical pieces and seasonal instrumentals tracing the winter months from Halloween through Christmas to Shrove Tuesday. Features Russian style massed mandolins (Christmas Candle), Celtic inspired arrangements (I Saw Three Ships), highly evocative Basque and Provencal carols, and music from Handel’s ‘Royal Fireworks’.
