Sophia was drawn to the mandolin at the age of 8. At age 9 she was called up to play with Sierra Hull at Delfest in 2017. She has already played at major Venues such as High Sierra Music Festival, Delfest, IBMA’s World of Bluegrass, CBA Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival, and more. She currently plays professionally with bands Sweet Sally and Salty Sally, and attends Oakland School for the Arts where she studies Jazz mandolin.
